It’s a white day

Obviously I’m late with my entry today.  Somehow it got lost in the hustle of the day.  The weather is white today.  It kind of reflects my mood.  I’m working from home today.  The roads are not in a good state for traveling.  On another note, I’ve finished ripping all my CDs (or at least the ones that are in this room) for my iPod.  I have quite a range of different flavours.  So being home, I’ve started up iTunes and started the “Party Shuffle” mode.  Given that it will take all of my music and use it, I could be listening to some Hip Hop and then the next song is a 50s song from Easy Listening and then we hit Electronica, then Jazz, R&B, Rock, New Age, a couple more Hip Hop/Rap, Pop, another Easy Listening, then Rock, Pop, etc.  Quite interesting to have such drastic changes.  It’s worked out not bad.  I’ll have to admit though that going from Beatles to Sade to Lenny Kravitz to Frankie Laine can be a bit of an exercise for your ears.
